Dien Bien Phu Motorbike Tour Itinerary: 7 Days, 7 Nights
Day 1: Hanoi to Pu Luong Depart from Hanoi in the morning, riding through the lush Vietnamese countryside and small villages. Enjoy a scenic lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Arrive in Pu Luong by late afternoon, where you can explore the nature reserve, have dinner, and stay overnight at a local homestay or guesthouse.
Day 2: Pu Luong to Mai Chau Leave Pu Luong after breakfast, riding through picturesque landscapes and ethnic minority villages. Stop for lunch at a local eatery. Arrive in Mai Chau by late afternoon, explore the charming valley, enjoy a traditional dinner, and stay overnight at a Thai village homestay.
Day 3: Mai Chau to Phu Yen Depart from Mai Chau in the morning, traveling through stunning mountain scenery and terraced rice fields. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant en route. Arrive in Phu Yen by late afternoon, have dinner, and stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 4: Phu Yen to Mu Cang Chai Leave Phu Yen after breakfast, riding through beautiful rural landscapes and rugged terrain. Stop for lunch at a local eatery. Arrive in Mu Cang Chai by late afternoon, where you can admire the famous terraced rice fields, have dinner, and stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 5: Mu Cang Chai to Sin Ho Depart Mu Cang Chai in the morning, traveling through remote mountain paths and ethnic villages. Stop for lunch at a local eatery along the way. Arrive in Sin Ho by late afternoon, have dinner, and stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 6: Sin Ho to Dien Bien Phu Leave Sin Ho after breakfast, riding through challenging off-road trails and breathtaking scenery. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant en route. Arrive in Dien Bien Phu by late afternoon, explore the historical town, have dinner, and stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 7: Dien Bien Phu to Sapa Depart Dien Bien Phu in the morning, riding through stunning mountain landscapes. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Arrive in Sapa by late afternoon, explore the town, have dinner, and stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 8: Sapa Exploration and Overnight Train to Hanoi Spend the morning exploring Sapa, visiting local markets, ethnic minority villages, and scenic spots like Cat Cat Village. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, ride to Lao Cai, board the overnight soft sleeper train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Day 9: Arrival in Hanoi Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning, concluding the tour.

We were a group of 11 from all parts of the world. USA, NZ, Australia, UK and Hong Kong. First time for most in North Vietnam. Our guide Hai has to be the most experienced guide in the business and worked with us to design a very special and unique 5 Day off and on road experience.
Trip went off without a hitch, Hai and his team were very organized, excellent support with a mechanic and support vehicle to take our luggage and any souvenirs we bought from local markets. We enjoyed great Vietnamese cuisine, very good standards of accommodation, excellent riding of all types.
Scenery was amazing. Bikes were off good mechanical condition. I would definitely recommend WeRideVietnam
This trip was spectacular, from the excursions, the food, the places we stayed to our wonderful guides of Tan and Long. We had a wonderful time going on and off road. There was some challenging spots, but we lived to celebrate the awesome time. Everything we did was away from tourist, but immersed into the culture. Highly recommend Hai and the crew for your next adventure.
Hai and his team make a great combination, they really know the back and off road routes, as well as good sweeping roads when needed. Excellent homestays to enjoy the local culture and food. We did 5 days, around 950kms Hanoi to Lao Cai. If you enjoy bikes (250. Hondas) and get a few friends together, highly recommend these guys to tour with.

Fantastic 12 day motorcycle tour of NW Vietnam off road thru the mountains and then down the history trail following the Ho Chi Min trail. Hai our leader and Long our mechanic were just the best. I cannot think of a better way to see Vietnam and with Hai’s 20 years of experience and knowledge you will see things not only tourists but most Vietnamese gone get to see. Excellent family motorbike trip from Hanoi to Hoi An. , We had a motorbike with sidecar for kids and a Moped. Hai and Cong ensured our family had an amazing time with great riding, unbelievable local food and fun company, The days were full with lots of rest stops. Get trail rides for all levels of experience with a great variety of road and off-road trails. Mechanic riding with tour is an advantage as kept bikes going with no downtime.
